Starting the Java Client

The PowerTerm Server must be running before the user can start the client.

To start the Java Client:

1. Open your web browser.

2. Type the address provided by your administrator.

  (i.e. http://your-computer-name/Ericom/WebConnectversion-number/Java/SecureClient.html)

The Security Warning dialog box appears.  

3. Click Yes. The Java Client main screen and the Login dialog are displayed.

4. Type in the User Name and Password.

5. Click Login. The Connect dialog is displayed.

User Name: Specifies the user name.

Password: Specifies the user's password.
