Selecting Emulation Window Font And Font Style

Font

PowerTerm Java enables you to select the fonts available to you through the Java virtual machine used by the browser.

These default fonts are scalable, so that if the window is made smaller, the font size is reduced in relation to the size of the window.

Note: Monospaced fonts all have the same width. Courier is such an example.

To select the desired font:

1. Select View | GUI Fontor Emulation Window Font. The list of available fonts is shown.

2. Select the desired font. The emulation screen display adjusts to the newly chosen font.

Font Style

There are three different modes (Auto Fit, Regular, Bold) that govern the style of your fonts.

To select the desired font style:

  1. Select View | Emulation Window Font. The list of available font styles is shown.

  2. Select the desired font style. The emulation screen display adjusts to the newly chosen style.

Auto Fit Font

A small window size will automatically change the font to regular, while a large window size will cause the font to become bolded.

Regular Font

The fonts are non-bolded.

Bold Font

The fonts are bolded.
