5250 Printing Session using both Host Print Transform and Predefined Connection Settings

Client Side

1. Login to the PowerTerm WebConnect Server.

2. Close the Connect dialog to define the printer settings.

3. SelectConnection | Print Properties. The Printing Device and Properties dialog is displayed.

4. Select File or Device.

5. Select Advanced Printing. The Advanced Printing Properties dialog is displayed.

6. Select Use Connection Settings.

7. Click OK.

Server Side

1. Create a 5250 printer connection.

2. Click Settings. The Terminal Setup dialog is displayed.

3. Select Printer tab.

4. Select Device from the Print Device list.

5. Select Advanced Prining. The Advanced Printing Properties dialog is displayed.

6. Select Enables AS/400 Host Printer Transform.

7. Define the other Advanced Printing settings as necessary.

8. Click OK.

9. Verify that the Java Only option at the bottom of the Terminal Setup dialog is cleared.

10. Click Save in the Terminal Setup dialog.

11. Click OK in the Connection Properties dialog. The newly defined connection is now available on the Java client.
